    Great Things in 2018!

We believe God is doing and will continue doing great things in 2018! 2 Chronicles 7:14 gives us a divine word as we approach the challenges we must face because of the fallen world we live in. “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.” We, the people of God, must commit to do our part as God continues to do His.  God will always be faithful and do exactly what He says He will do. Pray!

Throughout the Bible, we are commanded to communicate with the God of Heaven who created us.  Throughout Scripture, we are told to pray, how to pray, when to pray, what may hinder our prayers, and even how not to pray .  With this Holy focus on communication, we would be unwise to leave this wonderful and powerful opportunity for blessing out of our tools for daily living.  Jesus says in Mark 11:17, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’?” Prayer is our opportunity to tell the God of the Universe what is on our minds while His Holy word tells us…

    The Miracle of Christmas

DECEMBER 2020 Minister Cheryl Robertson “THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS”  As the Christmas Season is upon us, I am reminded of the trip members of the Spirit of Elijah Kingdom Church took some years ago to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA, to see the play “Miracle of Christmas”.  Oh! how they can bring the Scriptures to life!  I remembered being in awe of the vastness of the cast, the beauty of all the colors, the lights, the music—all the scenes around the birth of Jesus and there was so much excitement about the story of our Savior. As I meditated on this, I got excited all over again…

    Looking Ahead to 2021

January 2021 Blog “Looking Ahead to 2021 through the Rearview Mirror” Minister Cheryl Robertson When this title came to me in prayer at the beginning of December, I got very curious about what the Lord was saying to me.  Most of the times you hear the opposite—stop looking at the rearview mirror—look ahead.  As I meditated and pondered in my heart what He was saying, I felt compelled to share what was said to me as it sure blessed me! You know the saying ”Hindsight is 2020!”  Well looking back at 2020 there are a lot of things we can talk about.  However, the Lord asked me a question:  “What…
